Things to do

Tour the many interesting sites of East Cork. In Youghal, you can enjoy a walking tour and be transported back to the time of Sir. Walter Raleigh. In nearby Midletonyou can enjoy a tour of the Old Midleton Distillery and taste the world famous Irish Whiskey. In the town of Cobh you can revisit the grandeur of the Titanic at Old Midleton Distillery. This excellent centre recreates Cobh’s seafaring history of Famine Ships, Liners and Maritime life.

There are also a variety of other activities for the family; amusements in
Youghal, Fota Wildlife Park and Arboretum, Trabolgan Holiday Village and your choice of sandy beaches.

All of the above are between 10 and 30 minutes drive but for the more adventurous why not take a day tour to the lakes of Killarney, Ring of Kerry, Kilkenny Castle, Rock of Cashel and Waterford Crystal to name but a few.
